Seattle bus passengers tackle robber

Now this I enjoyed...way to go folks :rock:

CCTV has caught the moment bus passengers in Seattle tackled a would-be robber.

Passengers originally seemed unaware of the danger until one man grabbed the assailant's gun. Other passengers then helped pin the robber down and he was later arrested.

Local media later reported that 19-year-old Trevonnte Brown has been charged with first-degree robbery.

Saw this on the local news report here in Los Angeles. They showed the CCTV footage and I agree, the passengers did a fine job of taking this piece of crap down. The only flaw was they didn't rough him up a bit more...

<O>

I have to wonder just how litigious we are compared to other nations. It often said that the criminal has more rights then you do.

The passengers didn't go far enough IMHO...
He wouldn't be able to sue if he was dead. I would have shot him with his own gun.:-? In his concussion!
And they only charged the punk with robbery!? Not armed robbery?:nope:

Some of us need things 'splained to us. We're not in law enforcement.

Though they could hammer the puke with a few more charges.

Assault with a deadly weapon.
Terroristic threatening.
Illegal commercial use of public transportation.
Those spring to mind.

I bet he pleads "Not guilty" Any takers?

Yeah probation isn't even warranted given he didn't actually kill four people and cripple two more.
