Indeed she could

In Denmark the Highways Agency is running a campaign that appear in some advertisements on various TV channels

In those videos the speaker say "Drive car when you drive a car and do nothing else"

maybe this rule should apply to all road users

So the police stopped a potential Darwin Award winner? :-?

One more idiot alive breathing my air.

The heartbreak of phone addiction. I guess Angry Birds was worth taking a long walk off a short pier. The good news is, she retained possession of the phone. It probably didn't even get wet :haha:

Like a drunk I saw leaving a bar one night...
He slipped and fell on an icy parking lot, landed hard enough to cause his digital watch to light up the time and never spilled a drop from his beer can. He picked himself up, got in his car and drove home drunk.

I wonder how much she will try to sue the owners of the pier for not putting safeguards. :nope:

I haven't gone on any calls like this myself, but some of the other firefighters have talked about it.

You have any idea how stupid stuff like this is going to skew the insurance curve?
:nope:

They should have just posted a life ring to her page and said LOL or TYVM!

I told my little sister about this story and she told me about a young man who got killed last year in Copenhagen. The witness said, he had his eyes deep into his cell phone when he walked right out in front of a car who was driving on a road where there's a speed limit on 70 km/h

He was killed instantly

I did recall her story had only forgot all about it.
