I've done dozen or so freefall jumps and always thought BASE jumping looked kind of fun in a scarily-close-to-the-ground sort of way. That fun has now been removed from my thoughts.

The slo-mo parts don't actually look so bad but in real-time it's shockingly abusive. :o

How is it possible for him to land seemingly crotch-first on the only protruding bit of rock in his entire fall?:huh: This guy has some serious bad luck! Also, you se the black marks made when he dragged his trainer down the cliff face, there would have been similar marks in my boxers!

This is why i make a point of not jumping off seriously high stuff or out of perfectly servicable aircraft.:03:

Ouch, very bad luck there, not enough clearance between himself and the rock face, but to be honest just launching yourself off the cliff in the first place would be bloody terrifying, so understandable that it didn't quite go as far as was needed, and then to hit groin first into that outcrop...that's got to smart.
Still, lucky that his chute didn't get ripped off at the top and so he was slowed down enough to survive the ground, but that was probably his only bit of luck. :03:
