Just when you thought TV couldn't get any worse

Or maybe you did, and were waiting to see what kind of putrid program they'd put on next.

If ever there was need of a Kaleun facepalm smilie, it would be now.

come on man, you can't complain. This isn't the age of 2 channels and an antenna anymore. Its the ago of satellite TV and thousands of channels. Don't like it, watch something else, someone out there likes vanilla ice man.

before anyone asks, that someone is not me

Except that its this same kind of garbage that destroyed the history channel. Even on satellite TV there's often nothing to watch but some stupid reality TV show.

No one is forced to watch this stuff. If it makes money for the sponsors, good for them. :yep:

90% of TV is total trash and rising.

Good Lord....are we that starved for entertainment? More garbage that is pumped through my cable that I pay good money for. I honestly wish my cable provider allowed a pick and choose list of programming that will only be piped to my TV. This one would NOT make the list.

^ This. There's probably about five or six channels I watch on a daily basis depending on what happens to be on at the time. Then there's the 200+ channels I don't watch and most likely never will. But like anything else its all about the money, cable and satellite TV providers think that they'll lose profit if they let the customer pick and choose so they make everyone get one of those "package" deals.

Precisely...and something I personally consider to be as annoying as hell :nope:

Its not like i get it for free. All these channels do is clutter and jack up my satellite bill. My fear is that one day the last bastions of reasonable programming will be destroyed and you'll have endless, homogenous lists of crap. Ill be seriously on the ropes about paying 120 bucks a month for football and the once-in-a-blue-moon history program on the history channel.
