WB's Mid Patrol Orders - Install Question

Hi All,

So I'm trying to install WB's Mid Patrol Orders for GWX (as directed, through SH3 Commander), and I must be doing something wrong.

I don't understand why you would install the "Random events.cfg" from the base mod into SH3 Cmdr, just to be immediately overwritten by activation of the appropriate patrol zone in JSGME (per the Readme). But ther must be something I'm not getting...

I tested several configurations, and still do not receive my second patrol grid. Yes, I have sunk an enemy ship, completed the initial 24hr Patrol, and sent a status report. All I receive after that is "Continue as Ordered." from BDU.

This is the LAST mod in my mash-up, (of 50+ mods) to create my "Ultimate Install" to be backed up... This mod sounds amazing, and if someone who has it working could walk me through how they set it up, I would be most appreciated!

Been away for a while, but seven months must be a record for response to a question.

The mod is written with a generic file which can allocate you a grid anywhere. Great if you're in a IX or XXI but less use if you've got a smaller boat. The sub-mods then overwrite that file to make it relevant to the boat or area in which you patrol. When I wrote the mod it was easier to write the massive 'any grid' version then redact it for the various areas.

Sorry it's taken so long, and hopefully you've already got this solved!

Just waiting for Jim's 'necrothread' avatar...

The real credit for USAM should go to the modders who created the ships and aircraft, but I'm glad you're enjoying the mod. I also notice that the_frog has been busy creating yet more ships...

I've been away with work for the last eight months with just a netbook and dial-up at best (when it was working!) and I'm now trying to work out my .mis files from my .dat. Please be gentle while I get back into the game!

Someone be a dear and tell me what USAM is.
