External view shows white trail on Etoforu
Playing TMO 2.5/RSRD with OTC, latest MOD updates, and with external view the Etoforu (I think) shows a trail of all white which blocks the normal sea view. This trail as I call it extends behind the ship and follows its previous course. What causes this and is there a fix for this?

Never posted a pic before but I'll try now to show what I described above

It could be a graphics card issue. Someone else may be able to help there. I don't know enough about them to help.
It could also be OTC. I have had various problems with that mod. |

I thought it is something with the ship's file's but don't which of these could cause it! |
You most likely do not have the compatible RSRD with your TMO.
When referring to issues in the game you should post your mod order and version with your question for a better frame of reference. Open GME>click TASKS>EXPORT ACTIVATED MODS LIST TO>CLIPBOARD Paste into the post your creating. This will include your installation path so you may wish to delete that part only. This way others can view your version and mod order to better understand what might be causing an issue. ======================== Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 OpsMonsun_V705 OMv705_to_V720 OMv720_Patch5 OMEGU_v300 OMEGU_v300_Patch7 OM_Harder_Escort_L2 UBM Missions Popular German Music From The 30´s #1 Real Environment mod install |

gets over written by RSRD so if there is a corruption in the file in some way it might cause this. I'd love to see an overhead version of your photo to see the shape of those white marks. Could be a sensor grid or bounding box but I just do not see a bounding box being that large around the vessel in a game like this. I would simply uninstall everything, make sure your game is clean on a fresh re-installation and then add your mods one by one. After each installation reboot, run the game and check for that ship. Add another mod then reboot and run the game and check the ship again. Do this until you see the white box and you'll know which mod did it. If the white box never shows up again then it may have simply been a corrupt section of one of the RSRD files that got cleaned up after a fresh installation. |
Thanks for your advice. I'll pursue it. I think I might have a corrupted version of that ship because the same thing happens with TMO without RSRD.

Here's the overhead view of the ships water trail. Does that give you anymore ideas as to what is causing this?
