Cool new nVidia feature: constant in-game recording
http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/art...ble-october-28
If you are using the latest of the latest driver, you may have gotten the live update feature already, it came with one of the latest driver versions (which I do not use,so...:D ). However, they now added a showdow feature: the gfx card will constantly write the past 15 or 20 minutes of game action to a temporary file, and if you did something greatz or something worth to be turned into a movie and shown around, you hit a keyboard command, and the temp file gets saved as a permanent file, and a new temp file gets started. By the sound of it: cool idea! :yeah: But I am using 314.22, and I will not corrupt a stable and solid driver version (the first driver since I upgraded from 275.xx that does not behave like a diva!) just for this new feature. You need a GTX 650 or better, and latest driver, along with nVidia Experience 1.7 My card is GTX660, so I would be fine, but as I said: I dislike experiments with GFX drivers. Thinking so by plenty of non-positive experiences. |
come on...no risk no fun..... create a "wiederherstellungspunkt" of your system and try it out....
...if you are not happy then restore your system to the old state....done in a few minutes... by the way, if nobody would be willing to try out something new we would still be in the stone age... |
