Why men avoid marriage

I avoid women for a much simplier reason:

:D

However, the last word in the Simpson movie is a big problem in today's society, I think, this loud and aggressive "Me!"

Like in "Mig-29!". Or like in "Me first!". Or like in "eeeeeeek!"

I don't think most men avoid marriage, most've my friends on their 2nd or 3rd one.

I guess I'm stuck with this one until I die..

That's probably true in places like California or New York, but clearly this Helen Smith, Ph.D., hasn't spent time in Utah; because most men seem to get married early around here. Id say in their early twenties. (Yeah, i know it's a mormon thing)

Marriage. That most solemn of institutions.

Institution:
1: A facility for higher learning.
Get married and you'll get schooled.

2: A facility for detaining convicted criminals .
Get married and you end up here for one reason or another.

3: A perceived beneficial organization
Get married and you will become her financial institution.

I learned after #1
Never again. NEVER!!!!

The only thing it's really good for is to prevent bastard children.:O:

Most profound.

My Son is, by definition, a Bastard.
In real life?
He'd be defined (by Me anyway) as a Bastard even if I had married his Mother sooner!
:har:

I have a math rule I go by.
A. How much do I want to keep my stuff.
B. How much do I want to keep my Wife.
C. How much do I want to keep my sanity.

If A + B < C?
I'm dumping A + B!!

Ive been saying this for a long time now. The biggest issue i had is the inherent sexism in the issues of divorce, where a father, who idealistically has JUST as much right to his kids as the mother, provided both are good parents, gets the short end of the stick in the majority of cases. I get to see my kids much less, and i have to pay for them to live separately and i have to support my ex-wife who i probably hate by now and not get a say on how she really spends that money. In fact, there are a great deal of cases where the alimony and child support that is payed to the ex-spouse is spent on ridiculous luxuries instead of sustenance and/or the children's benefit.

Not only that, but even if we never have kids i still might be forced to pay for HER living, even though in today's world she should have enough opportunity to pay for herself as she was doing before we got married.
