Some pretty nice shots here...I particularly like no 5 and the reason for the shadows in the picture.

I like the one showing the Merlin roar to life on the Spit with the flames coming from the exhaust.Course I am an engine/mechanical guy so that kind of thing sparks more thought for me.

x2, that is a fantastic picture, I also like the 'topless' Spitfire pic, with the cowlings off, makes you realise just how much machinery they crammed into the front end. :03:
