The German voice of Marge died a couple of years ago. Since then, it is just not the same anymore. Usually I watch series in their original language, Simpsons are the onlky exception cause the voices fit much better I think.

Anyways, RIP, thanks for the good laughs!

I remember her from back in the original "Bob Newhart" series days; she was always a delight to watch as she played Carol the receptionist. RIP, Marcia, and thanks for bringing laughter to our world...

The Simpsons producers have announced the retirement of the character in Marcia's honor.:up:

I still laugh at the episodes they pieced together with Chef's dialogue during the contract negotiations with Isaac Hayes.

I'll always remember her more as Carol on the Bob Newhart Show as his receptionist.

She was always very funny on that show.
