Lost at sea? What?
 

I start my first patrol using SH3 Commander and set sail in my Type II, Sept. 9, 1939. I'm at sea for 19 days, sink one ship for 6,000+ tons. After docking at Kiel I exited and when SH3 Commander popped up it said I was lost at sea on Sept. 12, 1939. That's only three days out. Anyone have any idea why it said 'Lost at sea'?

Fist are you running any megamods? If you are running a megamod without their respective SH3 commander files it can cause problems.

Yes. I'm using NYGM with the SH3 Commander files installed.

Weird. at any time did you save the game underwater within approx. 20km of land or other ships?

I always save on the surface and I make sure I'm at least 50km out. I sank the ship on day 17. Don't know why I was lost on the 12th.

:-? sounds like it could be one of those freak corrupt careers that occasionally happen. what is your mod lst by the off chance it is in there?

Started and finished another patrol. This time, no problems. Must have just been one of those things.
