Probably similar diets existed in many parts of the world in the early times...you ate anything you could catch.

Nah! Most of the Northern half of England is genetically Norse as is a fair chunk of Scotland myself included. :up:

I watched a very interesting proggy about this a few years ago, so most of us are Vikings... :arrgh!:

A couple of years ago I was considering moving to Sweden. I then learned that the Swedish word for "teacher" is lerare, among other strikingly interesting words too.
