Some body stole my ammo!

On my fourth war patrol I left Willi. for square DH 77 so called in at Las Palmas for a refuel. Left next day and proceeded on patrol. I attacked and hit a tramp steamer but didn't want to use a second torp. so surfaced and went for gun action. To my surprise I had no ammunition at all. And no, I hadn't forgotten to 'load'.

It seems that something happened at Las Palmas. Can any one explain. Never had this happen before.

Oh, there is a huge black market for 88mm ammo in Las Palmas.

(No, I don't know what happened, but the quirks in this game never cease to surprise me.)

Have you tried clicking on the shell icon when in the deck gun screen?

yes that's when I discovered that there was nothing in the locker. Message said "You have no ammunition"

Not sure what is doing that...you could try adding one of my mods and see if it gives you a quick fix:

Hi, did you give the order to 'man the deck gun' before taking aim? This caught me out earlier today....:hmmm:

my solution was to exit and restart then I had a full ammo locker. One thing I have noticed is that although I have the 'Extra ammo' mod enabled I only had 220 rounds instead of 250.I had 250 when I left Wilhelmshaven but perhaps the supply ships ration out the goodies. Off we go again.

Most strange...the mod should give you 250 every time you start a patrol :hmmm:
