When you get through all the zerohedge gobbledygook it says they are training the FSA militias as a counter to the Al-Qaida linked militias. Weird isn't it, the story is the exact opposite of what the bloggers claim, I do like that extra nonsense they added at the end:up: |

Course, that's how the military and their suppliers likes it.. |
Much better spent money than on our own people.
I would rather be able to manipulate other sovereign nations, than to take care of poor Americans, or rebuild/refurbish infrastructure. Or do anything other than create jobs for China, and encourage corporations to look overseas for labor, with no tax penalty....While reaping tax breaks for headquartering here. After all, American Taxpayer money, serves Americans last. Just ask congress. Congress has our best interests in mind, with a 10% approval rating... (don't get me started on the RINO obammy.) |

2. It has always been that way. From training and supporting Bin Laden in Afghanistan back then as long as he fought against the Russians, to the Contras in Nicaragua, to helping Pinochet's bullies against a democratically elected president, Haiti, blah and so on and so on. It all is in the best US interest, and tradition :03: |

In context of Cold War this was one of the more successful operations that contributed to chiping out USSR. Dealing with Bin Laden later on was a flop. |
You mean, 9/11 1973 in Chile was a 'successful operation' :-?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_Chilean_coup_d'%C3%A9tat No. |
