Elections coming in Afghanistan
I'm no fan of Karzai, but would rather put up with someone like him instead of this clown who is running for President over there. He brought Al Qaeda into the country years ago! What a waste this whole war has been.

The number one problem with democratic elections is that there is the risk that the person you don't like will be elected. :yep:
|
That's right ,can't do much about it. But with someone like him running, I doubt it will be an honest and free election.

Good thing that stuff like that does not happen in the USA....... oh  |
I wonder if the Afghan government will shut down too... :hmmm:
Oh wait...that would require a government in the first place... |
I hope that no one is really expecting any significant changes to come to Afghanistan.
No one learned from the British. No one learned from the Soviets. Maybe, just maybe, future governments will learn from the US -- don't get involved in Afghanistan. Just don't. :nope: |
One thing is almost certain....whoever wins will only be in power until the troops leave.

More blood shed, no question about it. :-?

Left alone, I believe that Afghanistan could have the best government money could buy. :yep:
