New to SubSim - Introduction
 

I recently was invited by UbiSoft to play the Silent Hunter Online beta. While playing, I decided that I wanted to play a real (not free to play) submarine simulator, so I decided to purchase Silent Hunter 4. I am more interested in commanding American subs than German subs anyways. As a child, my father gave me an old submarine simulator called Gato, and I remember liking it a lot, but I do recall it being relatively basic. So since I got Silent Hunter 4, I have been searching for tips on the Internet, and about half of my searches brought me to subsim.com. I was looking into getting this TriggerMaru mod, and SubSim requires me to join in order to download. So, here I am. I'm sure I will be using this forum because I've been having a difficult time trying to figure out this game. I only hit with about 15% of my torpedoes, and I still can't figure out why.
