Win 8 Help
 

I've been an XP man for years, but had to get a new PC. Got the game loaded, TMO. It shows TMO loading screen, but when bar gets 90% get the message not responding. Runnin as admin.

The stock game runs fine.

Are you running any other mods besides TMO? If so, uninstall all the mods and reinstall one at a time then see if the game will run until you find the culprit. :03:

Nope, just loaded on my new pc, tried TMO only, clean TMO DL twice. Little lost with win 8.

Hang in there Armistead! I was able to get all mods running with sh4 on win 8. At first I felt like I woke up with an ugly chick after a bender but she (win 8) grows on you after a while like a slightly chubby girl stuffed into hot pants. :o

Now I have to pull the old Brain Cleaner outta the closet to erase that image!

Getting ill with this. The stock game plays fine, just can't load a mod. I even tried a game reinstall. I've done everything correctly, run as admin. I can't figure why the stock game runs fine, but running any mod locks the loading bar up.

Armistead try installing the game outside program files (x86). Make a folder called games or something and install it there. Some say when your an admin you don not have to do that, but it's worth the try.
