Need suggestions on a mod!
 

Greetings Subsim,

I was wondering if you kind folks could steer me in the direction of which mod would be the best to start out with in SH3?

I am considering either the GWX mod, living silent hunter III mod, or the NYGM super-mod. I am aware that GWX seems to be the "go-to" mod. Oh, and will SH3 commander work with living silent hunter and/or nygm?

All opinions are appreciated!

Why not try them all? Use Multi-SH to manage multiple SH3 installations and have three careers going on. One in LSH, one in GWX and one in NYGM.

I guess LSH demands the most of the PC, NYGM has escorts with the best sensors, and GWX is the Windows of SH3 supermods (the most popular with all the necessary ingredients but getting somewhat old as it is not systematically developed anymore).

SH3Commander works fine with NYGM and GWX, I haven't tried LSH myself, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with that too.

SH3 Commander works independently of the game. It works with any supermod or with no supermod.
