BBC Documentary - A History of Syria (2013)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqtCOxeGAHE
Length (59:15) I don't know if it is unbiased or tells the complete picture, but it is very interesting to watch or listen to. |
Dan Snow does some good stuff, when you look at his Dad though you can see where he gets it from. Thanks for the link.

When it comes to foreign documentaries, BBC is one I trust. Not saying they
are 100% correct, 100% of the time, but I do trust them a whole more than something from US titled "SUPER SECRET CIA SHADOW FIREFIGHT: IRAQ'S EXTREME WARRIOR TANKS WITH FREAKING LAZORS!!!" :O: Thanks Ducimus, I'll give it a look. |
Welcome.
Believe it or not, i'm full of good youtube links. I use documenatries as sort of my "podcast" whilst i'm working. I just don't normally post them. :O: |

Well, if you dig around the user's channel from the video i posted in this thread, you'l find this:
The Story Of Ireland (Documentary Series) Five parts, one hour each. Haven't viewed more then 5 mins of the first one. Looks like it will be a good series. If your like me and love classical history and don't mind a hostess like Bethany Hugh's, your gonna love this: Bettany Hughes - The Ancient Worlds (Full Series) I've already seen all of them. Think ill go back and listen to the one about sparta again though. I don't normally post links cause I don't want to encourge traffic or the user being more visible to copyright infringement hunters on youtube. I've had some damn good documenatry channels go tits up because of copyrights infringements. If you see a good series, you need to watch it very soon. They come and go quite often. |
