Modifying sh4 battleships

I would like to modify the sh4 battleships so that they open fire at very long distance, and increase the power of their guns. Are there notepad files you can edit to do this?

You are likely to get a faster answer if you post this question in the SH4 section of the forum. I'm mainly SH3 myself.
