The latest addition to the Buna household
Well it happened yesterday lunchtime...the wife and daughter (aided by my boy on the phone) pinned me down in the man cave and watched over my shoulder whilst I searched a common site for Lhasas.
Found a seven week old litter of five in Bridlington (250 mile round trip) so off we went at 4pm and returned at 10pm with a dog (Louie). We named him after Prince George (and preferred the alternative spelling of Louis) because they were both born on the same day. He is obviously too young to have had his injections so is therefore confined to barracks until his eighth week of life and first visit to the local veterinary surgeon for his inoculation jabs. The wife has spent most of her time since then following him around the house with newspaper, kitchen wipes, a mop and a bucket of disinfectant :) A few pictures (camera phone, so not the best quality). http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/995/muno.jpg http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/7696/adkg.jpg http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/2506/7upr.jpg http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/2319/iibs.jpg |
:DAwwww
I have this thing about animals, and get all misty eyed when I see people giving a safe secure home to them. Good stuff, really. Thanks. I got like 3 cats and a dog, I am biased.:O: |
OMG HE'S ADORABLE!!!!! How can you avoid the temptation to just eat him up?
Altho I suppose the fact that he's probably doing constant pees and poos probably makes that less of a problem. :haha: But what a cutie... will be worth all the trouble and cleanups, you'll get paid back in snuggles and the kind of unconditional love only a pet can provide. |
So cute, reminds me so much of our old dog Sue (Lhasa/Tibetan Terrier), a little owl is what we used to call her.
I hope you have many happy years with little Louie. And, of course, I can't resist throwing in an old fave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RZJ4ESU52U  |
LOL :)

@ Frau K: Are you talking about Louie or Buna Jr? :O:
@ Jim: Lucky you - your wife seems to get younger every year. :O: :O: |
Glad you took the step, beautiful dog.
Get some pee pads/training pads, they take to em fairly fast. |
Great looking pup you have there Jim!

He is cute. We got a new puppy as well. Enjoy.

Don't ya just love dogs when they're a puppy? Everything is new to them. It's awesome.
:) Have fun with him. |
Jim, he's cute as a bug. Congratulations

My favorite thing with new pets is watching the new ones interact with the old ones.
My male cats loved the dog, the female was and is still full of hissing jealousy. To this day they play, and the dog is so much larger yet backs down from this tiny little black and white fluffball cat. It is funny to see a 10 pound cat punk out a 40 pound dog. |
@Jim
Congrats on the new puppy.:woot: Now enjoy house-training.:D Quote:
It was fun to watch Niki interact with Rocky, then Rocky interact with Boudreaux. It was all fun and games until Boudreaux came home with me, then Rocky said..."you brought him home?" wtf.:haha: They both love to chase squirrels together though. |

Animals are so much better than humans, they speak no words yet are more up front and honest than most humans. My cats laying on the dog is priceless. |
