error 0xc0000005
 

Been using sh5 and it had been working fine. Took a short sabbatical (2wk vacation) and yesterday, I get this error 0xc0000005 whenever I try to open sh5.
Did a complete new install from my registered dvd and the gu worked fine. Got to Uplay, went Offline and pressed the sh5 icon and also got the 0xc0000005 error from the Uplay site.

Any hints?

I think I've seen this problem before, and it may have to do with some Uplay patch. All I could recommend is that you reinstall Uplay.

Be careful though, I don't want to get the blame for ruining your computer system!:)
