Is it just me, or....
I never, never make it to my patrol zones. Truth be told, I run into merchant ships halfway and my eels and shells are gone by the time I reach the patrol zone (With around a dozen tons and several sinkings under my belt).
The fact that my OCD will make me force my crew pursue and sink a ship at all costs does'nt help either. Nor does the fact that BDU apparently is amused by having me go to the other side of the world. So, does anyone else have this same probelm? |
It's a good problem to have. I sinks 'em where I finds 'em. :yep:
Welcome to SubSim Deception. :salute: |
I might have a few left by the time I get there now,Dec 41.Earlier in the war I'd have a full load.Good Times.
Welcome to Subsim Deception.:arrgh!: |
That's a familiar problem. The only time I haven't had that problem when I decided to play a game where I decided to spend some patrols in the Arctic Sea. I went for a week without a ship and now and then there was a convoy. There are areas which are very quiet and then there are areas that are packed with single merchants and convoys.

Try some trips near Gibraltor, near the English channel, Biscay bay, between Ireland and UK and north of Norway.
I get a lot of ships:arrgh!: |
BdU have the bigger picture in mind, not just your tonnage. By not being effective in your patrol area the knock-on effect could be uberly detrimental to the war effort, so maybe it's your fault that Germany lost. :hmm2:
Welcome aboard :salute: |
