About to give up on SH4 Gold if nothing can be done
 

Except for the odd RARE multiplayer game..

I have had it trying to see ships on the map. Does anyone know what file these icon appearing so I can make them see-able?

what mods are you using?


in the picture we can easily see where the ship is and the direction it is moving in so what more are you looking to see?



technology during ww2 wasn't in high def so the game isn't going to give you too much detail or it would not be realistic.

to play the game all you need to know is the location and direction of the ship so the game even cheats to tell you the ship identification and the color tells you if its friendly (blue) enemy (red) or neutral (green) which is more information than you should be able to have.

if you are looking to change the colors used then you can do that but it would be much easier to change the map color so it contrasts better.

in all due honesty you shouldn't have any trouble seeing it unless its a hardware issue with your computer or the settings you are using
