Can the Q Ship Mod be used for Stock 1.4B SH3?

Does anyone know if the Q ship Mod can be used with stock 1.4B SH3 Campaign without using GWX. And if so maybe a few details on how to install, I will just write over files not using JSGME for now. The readme states its for GWX. Also if I wanted to increase there chance in campaign what would I edit. Thanks for any info.
