Das Boot Crew Cheer with torpedo impact?
 

Hey Guys :salute:

Quick question, is there a separate mod for the Das Boot crew cheer when you hit a Target? i have GWX 3.0 installed as well as Commander and a few other mods but i sunk a merchant in Patrol 2 last night but i never noticed anything when i hit my target with two torps?

Edit: The merchant i sank was Norwegian and Norway where not in the war at this point :doh: would this have something to do with the lack of crew cheer so to speak lol (She had no lights on at night so i assumed she was fair game, going to download the flag enlighten mod when i get home later)

Stock SH3 has two files in Data/Sound/Speech/<1-9>, Ono_cheers01,ogg and Ono_cheers02.ogg. GWX3.0 adds two more (03 and 04). I've never tried to remove them - don't know whether the game would crash if it didn't find them, although I doubt it. I have replaced them with blank .oggs, and that gets rid of the cheers. But a mod would have to do exactly that -replace them - since mods do not remove files.

Before I cracked down and stopped my crew from cheering (I run a taut ship!), I didn't always get cheers when a torp hit. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes only when the ship sank. I think there is a random factor.

Check your game files to see that you have the 4 Ono_cheers files and play them (double-click) to see that they have sound. If they are there, they should play.

BTAW, the crew only cares about whether the ship sank. They're stuck in a steel tube, they can't see out, and they don't know what nationality it was.
