SH3/GWX - No SOund
 

I bought a download version from Amazon, which is already patched to 1.4b. StarForce (I hate this program) was still part of the program though, apparently. I'm running on Windows 7, and the StarForce prompts an incompatibility error that says any drivers dependent on this will not function correctly. I ran the removal tool for SF, and I have no sound in the game, or outside of it. Even after the removal tool said it removed SF, and a restart, I still have no sound, even though my pc seems to think my soundcard is functioning properly. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you checked that the speakers are on, plugged in, with the volume up, and sounds on in the options menu?

If you did before you posted here, I can't be of any help. Sorry.

Uninstall the game, perform a registry clean, reinstall and use the SF removal programme before running the game for the first time...hopefully that will sort it or better still, purchase the game without SF in it.
