External HDD Drive
Finally decided to get one, since backuping all that matter on my PC is becoming a slow/laggy process and due to my latest virus enconter, decided not wait longer.
Going for a 1TB disk, since that would do and they are the more affordable. But now, what brand? Toshiba or western digital? or seagate? Any one has some advice? |

Thank you very much!:up::salute:

A bit of a late nitpicking expedition, but you asked for an External Hard Disk Drive drive :know:

It's for backing-up. :03:

I am going to suggest you don't do 1TB. For a third more in price you can double the storage. WD and Seagate both have 2TB drives under $100 bucks.
The reason you should consider 2TB is simple - 1TB is good for what you need today. What about a year from now? 3Yrs? With storage purchases, always look at the needs of "tomorrow" vs the needs of "today". The money you save in the long run is well worth the $35 dollars today. |
