[WIP] New Screens by Feuer Frei!

NEW SH 5 SCREENS (German Campaign version)

Aim of this mod:

To re-design many images in Silent Hunter 5 and to give a new visual representation of parts such as: Campaign loading screens, intro screens and possibly many more.
It will attempt to showcase a lot more 'immersive' imagery, for example the use of actual photographs taken in specific locations, where possible.
I would like to keep a 'black and white' character to this mod.
Like Silent Hunter 3, Silent Hunter 5 continued on its merry way with cartoon-like load screens, backgrounds, intro screen etc, and it bugged the hell out of me.
So, much like the SH 3 "Black and White" version of New Screens (
link here)
i decided to do something about it.

This is purely a Mod that changes load screens. This mod does not alter icons, ui aspects, sub menus or other such contents in the German language Campaign.
American language Campaign screens (many) have not been altered, as i play German language and settings campaigns only.

Requirements for this mod:

Silent Hunter 5, patched to 1.2 onwards.

Installation:

The mod will be JSGME-compatible.
To uninstall, use JSGME. Simple.

Compatibility:

NOT compatible with Alternate Loadscreen Mods.
NOT compatible with mods that change the dds files in the following paths:
data\menu\loading
data\menu\skins\german\gui...(all folders)
data\menu\skins\german\loading...(all folders)
and probably other paths...updated as mod progresses.

Credits\Permissions:

Ubisoft for the game files and the game

More to come...

BDU requests a Kaleun to test the screen mod!

Requirements:

Need Tester who is playing comprehensively, ie from campaign start to as late as possible in the war (1944/45) to ensure no screens have been missed by me.

Tester plays multi-player (but not necessary).

Tester to report findings of mod effectiveness, ie does the mod cover ALL encountered possibilities in game?
Does the mod need edits\re-sizing\touch-ups\fine-tuning.

Player will be mentioned in Credits.

I ws going to test this by myself but unfortunately i just don't play enough and ie cannot ensure that i have covered all screen edits ingame
BDU out.

Mod is not released yet. However, when it is, it will be fully compatible with JSGME. So yes, just enable with JSGME. :salute:
