Hello sailors im fairly new here ive been in love with ww2 naval warfare , submarine strategy games n movies since i was 7yrs old ive been through the Silent Service era for nitendo PTO eras for sega genisis n playstation 2 Battle Stations Midway n Pacific for the xbox 360 console n now im here today just recently purchased silent hunter 4 and 5 gold additions i must say these games are outstanding n blow all those previous games i mentioned out of the water literally lol. These are my first pc games so i dont know anything about new mods or installing them im still learning the ropes on pc so if anyone would like to lend the Admiral a hand please do so im open for all pointers. Just because im Fleet Admiral dont mean i cant accept advice lol. Also im using the alien ware laptop for this game i dont know what video card i need but lately ive encountered the game freezing when i click on the captains log in silent hunter 5 if anyone can help here please reply also how do i get that Das Boot theme to play my games i hear it in all the silent hunter 5 videos:salute::salute:

I'm afraid I can't answer your questions, but if you post them again in the SH5 thread I'm sure a guru will be straight on to it.

Welcome aboard; you might check out Admiral FiFi's constantly updated mod list and his swift concise responses to any technical problems. He recently sent me a mod for resupply at Vigo(OHII Full V2.2) as in Das Boot which saves a return to Lorient for refits when heavily engaged at Gibraltar or the Canaries. problems with mods
 

Thanks everyone sorry I just figured out how to check my posts lol...Ive finally gotten mods to work in the game but im still in the baby trial stages. The problem is that the mods are causing my game to close and back out to uplays home screen after a certain length of time. It usually starts when im raidng a port or returning to home port the game lasts for just over an hour then gets worse even down to 3 minutes. Then I have to uninstall all the mods in order to leave the enemy port or the game will just keep backing out to uplay every 2 or 3 minutes. Works fine in open water ..strange ...Anyone have a solution??
