Jimbuna

That's us back home safely the trip back was uneventful and we ended up in Tesco's buying beers to sup in the garden, I may fall off my garden chair tonight :D

It was great to see yoo and swing the lamp, let me know the next time yoo come north of the border and we can meet up

Thank yoo for HMS Illustrious, she is still in the car and my pal is coming through to help move her to her new home.

Stay safe

Cheers

Gary

I'll let Jim post the piccys if he wants, suffice it to to say the hull is over 7' long and my missus had to endure a very cramped drive back north of the border :woot:

It's gonna take me a few years to build this baby. :arrgh!:

I have 2x350 scale and 1x1/44 Lusty's to build first.

It will be good practice for the biggie :D

Thanks Jim. going to do an inventory to see what goodies I have, then make a list of the ones I can fabricate myself. I will probably make the flight-deck out of fibreglass, by making a template on lining paper which I can role-up and put away until spring.. I can use resin casting for most of the other parts. :D

It is gonna be fun :woot:

Cheers
