I'd like to find my Great Grandfathers grave, if one exists.
The original August. According to his death certificate which I had translated: He was an Infantryman with the 6th Company of the 8th Bavarian Infantry Regiment, 16th Bavarian Infantry Division. He fell on October 3rd 1918 about 7 o'clock in the morning in Flanders Belgium somewhere between Roulers, Iseghem and Ardoye. http://home.comcast.net/~rdsterling/...ccad14abeef220 |
I would like to go to Messines and see where my great-grandfather got his military medal, and visit the graves of two of my relatives that I know died, one at Verdun in 1918 (great-granduncle), and another at Roclincourt during the Battle of Arras in 1917 (great-great-grandfather).
