sh4 Mod Request - fleet command mod
Hey guys,
It's been quite some time since Ive last played sh4 or visited the forums and I'm noticing there still isn't any major mod conversions after all this time that has passed.. I have played sh3 & 4 with uboat missions addon + opmonsun to death! now usually I only really play around with the playable pocket battleship USS montana, & the Bismark mod. so I have a few questions.. I'm wondering if it at all possible to add more playable ship career types such as destroyers, & cruisers? <edit> found this myself and the answer was yes, I found a very nice selection of playable career ship classes mod made by cdp44 Playable ShipPack </edit> also is it possible to add in a convoy that follows the players waypoints in such a way that enemy convoys act? lastly is there a way to rig a carrier in some way so that it becomes a player controlled portable search and attack carrier so alot like land based search planes act where the player clicks on the airbase and selects a search circle. all of this would ofcourse be apart of the players convoy. mhm.. yeah that's what I want so.. make it happen! let me know when it's ready, Thx :rotfl2: LOL |
i know no one is reading this post but my carrier idea was..
You can 'fire' airplanes with your UZO. These planes can be loaded like torpedoes and in the campaign loadout menu you can load up different types of planes, torpedo bombers, dive bombers etc. Your aircraft carrier has only a very weak anti ship defence and has to be escorted by ships. In the german campaign you go up in ranks and eventually call in task forces. so if you play the campaign you start off with a group of destroyers guarding you, on the 2nd rank you get a destroyer fleet with a cruiser guarding you and so on until you get a whole taskforce with battleships and all guarding you. You can call in recon planes through carrying an airfield with you and attack enemy ships with your planes through the UZO. Kind Regards, Bunker:salute: |
