Where is my ship?

So I got back into SH3 around a week ago.

Finally made some progress and picked GWX and Commander. Then I saw some videos that looked really pretty on here and my attraction to OLC began.

After spending a little bit this afternoon trying to figure it all out and getting things running proper I've got it all up and running.... with one problem - There isn't any indication of where my boat is on the nav map. No circle with little line, nothing. If I don't have a point plotted, I'd be lost entirely.

Suggestions?

Currently I'm running:
GWX - Alt load screen
GWX - Capt. America Officers
GWX - English Nav Maps
OLC - Option 3

I've also patched with Hsie (I have the SH3 via Steam).

Thanks!

I haven't tried OLC so maybe that's what's causing it?
Maybe try getting a separate ownship-compass-overlay mod and adding that last to your mod list?

Yes, I disabled OLC and everything pops back up. Maybe I'll just grab another mod that'll stack on to these.

Mods for mods...

The OLC mod made the Uboat icon transparent. I don't know what the name of the file is. But there are plenty answers in this forum to show how to fix it back.

Alternatively:
Just leave a waypoint on the map and set your own course. The end points to you. Or CTRL-Leftclick on the map and it pans your Uboat under the cursor.

The mod called "ACM Lite" will allow you to use OLC and have your old map back.

Salute !!!
