SH5 issues
 

Hey, I just installed the game and I played it yesterday, I come to play it today and when I try starting it up, all I get is is a quick snippet of the auto update thing, then nothing, I took a look in my task manager and it doesn't even show up in that... What the hell is going on.

The game isn't pirated, its a legal copy and still it wont work, why?

It's Ubi that's why.

Try running the \data\Support\gu.exe (game updater).

If that doesn't work you'll probably need to delete the Ubi launcher (UCrap) and reinstall it.

Right click the EXE and go to properties/compatability . Run it as administrator .

Also, if you installed it in the program files directory that might cause problems due to microsoft windows (depending on which OS it is)

Was playing the game all okay last week on my computer with windows 7, but today i get the same problems and it wont run. Never any problems before.

Why would it just suddenly not work?

Uninstall Uplay then reinstall it, that worked for me.

Only now I start a campaign and I'm doing the tutorial mission, and the first ship I have to destroy is fine, but then it asks me to sink 2 more... Only problem is that I can't seem to find anymore ships.
I've started three new campaigns, sailed around for 2 hrs on each and I can't find a single ship..

Any Ideas?

just skip tutorial..

It won't let me do that either, I'm sick of searching for hours just to get fed up of looking!

start new campaign.. once animation will start press esc and compitely quit the game.. open up Documents\SH5\data\cfg\CareerHistory.cfg using Notepad.. change line HasCompletedTutorial= from False to True.. save the file, run the game, start new campaign, skip tutorial.. enjoy..
