IRS did whaaaat?
They posted thousands of social security numbers online.
Sent 46 million dollars in refunds to 24,000 undocumented aliens...... at the same address! Still giving out bonus checks that the POTUS told them not to give out. WTF?!?!? http://now.msn.com/irs-publishes-soc...uploading-data Time to do away with this inept agency or what? Maybe then we can get a tax form that isn't like reading stereo instructions... in Japanese. |
Time to do away with this inept agency or what?
But what about all the tax lawyers that would become unemplyoyed? I'd hate to see lawyers living like the rest of us. I mean, they'd have to use an obamaphone:o, like a common peasant. ...and how would the bamster attack his political opponents? No, think about the children. I thinks it's best we grow this dept. |
I dunno Niki,
Peon Esquire has a nice ring to it.:D As for the POTUS and his opponents.... Well, I just don't give a rat's patootie. He'll have to do things the old fashioned way... Legally. |

I do think the IRS needs major work though....and the EPA just needs to go. We don't need the EPA...and we need a simple tax code that everybody can understand...and we need to redo the IRS. :dead: |

Sorry Red,
I would hope that your sire is an attorney. Lawyers chase ambulances and do all manner of below board activities with their own gain in mind. Then they run for office. IRS has shifted their focus and they need a thorough house cleaning and a name change if the broom isn't taken to their offices. Infinitely Retarded Suckers Just to be polite. :-? |

I've got no problem with your opinion. I can take it. There are a few screwballs in the bunch...but you have to remember these people also have families to support and not all of them are like that. |
Well Red, somebody has to do it.
As for lawyers and their families, I didn't hold a gun to their heads and force them to take up a profession where your main goal is to make lies sound like truth and truth sound like lies. There are other ways to support a family and they pay quite well if you're willing to sacrifice your time on the altar of business. I commend your pop for serving the public interest. I doubt that prosecutors or defense attorneys get paid a great deal of money. As opposed to those who charge $700.00 retainers and $250.00 an hour or more. I wish I could make $4.00 a minute.:O: What are you going to be when you grow up?:hmmm: To be successful, you first need to get past suc. I don't foresee you having any problem doing that. |

There's a local college who has AF ROTC and a good aviation program (one of the graduates of the program is a member of the Blue Angels). I'm thinking of joining the Aviation Program and ROTC so I can get my pilots license and then join the Air Force and fly. :shucks: :salute: |
A very noble goal my young friend.:yeah:
I trust you have no physical impediments that would exclude you from being a hot shot pilot? Get in shape now if you aren't already. Best of luck to you Zoomie. |

I just want to fly. If hot shot fighter pilot doesn't work out, I'll still have my pilot's license one way or another. If military doesn't work out and neither does pilot, I'll probably be a Missouri State Trooper or something cool like that. |
Must become a US citizen :hmm2:
|
There are many other types of aircraft that the Air Force flies.
I once saw a Zoomie bank a turn in a KC 135 tanker right after takeoff and then use the ailerons like it was a fighter jet to make his turn. He had the wings at a complete ninety degree angle to the horizon. Pedal to the metal or I should say, throttles against the stops. Talk about yankin the yoke! Maybe the president's escorts were low on fuel or sumthin. Which could have been the case because my co-worker and I were run off a tarmac because Air Force One was coming in for some service. Not all hot shot Zoomies fly fighter jets. |
RE the sending of the refunds to one address
Unfortunately, these types of mistakes happen when one relies on an automated computer system. Once it makes a mistake, it will, in this case, replicate the mistake rapidly. This is just the type of operation that needs a human in the loop. :yep: That is a pretty significant mistake to make. :nope: |
You know what they say about computers, Platapus?
"Garbage in garbage out" One would think that they'd have code in place to flag a discrepancy that large.:timeout: |
