TMO 2.5 Sub Underwater

Sometimes have trouble locating the submerged sub when switching from Control Room to mirky underwater view with '.' key. Is there anyway to have sub location circle on the surface as in SH5 showing where the boat is for quick zoom in?

Yes, you need to remove TMO 2.5 from "Activation" in JSGME. Make sure you remove all mods in the order you put them into the game (if you have more than just the TMO mod activated).

Open the "MODS" folder of JSGME and find "1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5", then open the folders Data/Misc. In the Misc folder you'll find an image file named "UMark.dds", rename it to something like TMOSubUMark.dds. This will prevent the TMO image file from being loaded into the game (which removes the marker)......allowing the stock game sub marker to be displayed on the ocean surface.

TMO 2.5 Submarine Underwater

Hi Cap'n! Well I tried your suggestion but to no avail, just a lot of empty ocean surface up there. I guess I'll just have to pop the scope up to find me' boat.[ I don't suppose copying the 'Stock' Umark dds file over to replace the TMO Misc file will do the trick or will that knacker everything]?

Use the . or , key when you're on the surface and zoom in pretty close with the arrow "up" key, next time your're under you'll see the sub.

If you use the arrow key's to look at the targets (like I did in the beginning ) don't forget to re-zoom to the vessel or toggle to the your sub and then zoom in otherwise you'll have a hard time finding it again.

Hope that helped.

PS_ If you're using the free cam you just need to (as soom as you pressed F12) zoom in with the 'up" key and and aim a little lower then where the screen is pointing otherwise you'll overshoot and miss the sub.

Replacing the TMO "UMark.dds" file with the stock file will do it too......but renaming the file should as well. TMO removes the Alpha Channel of the image, which is how Ducimus gets the marker not to show. Renaming/replacing/removing the TMO UMark.dds file from TMO's Data/Misc folder will do the trick.

Here's an image of a Porpoise at periscope depth:

If you can't get the sub marker to show at periscope depth, by renaming the file to "TMOSubUMark.dds".......you're doing something wrong.
