RIP! Did not know that he was the writer of "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet!"

Never got the recognition he deserved imho.

Oh yeah. And of 'The Incredible Shrinking Man' and 'I Am Legend', which was made into a movie first as The Last Man On Earth, with Vincent Price, then as The Omega Man, with Charleton Heston, and most recently as I Am Legend, with Will Smith.
I had forgotten that he wrote Duel, which starred Dennis Weaver and was Steven Spielberg's first full-length TV movie. I own a copy of that one. :D

What I didn't know was that he was still alive. Until now, that is.
