CTD's and disappearing convoys after saving a game

I am having 3 issues with Sh5 at the moment which is really destroying my faith in it again.

I am playing a singleplayer mission named HG10 and have the following issues

1. CTD's happen regularly when looking through the Attack periscope.

2. I was in the middle of a convoy and hit 2 ships with torpedoes and saved the game. When i went back to it later the 2 ships were sailing along undamaged as though I had never hit them with torpedoes. So I tried mission again and after hitting 3 ships and saving while close to convoy. When i re-loaded the saved mission teh convoy had disappeared.

3. When i opened the mission in Mission Editor I was geeting errors that Hogg Island ship didnt exist .

Any ideas.

ok the ships that are hit will always do that, the ship is either recorded as alive or sunk and nothing is saved about damage so when it reloads it does so undamaged.

if you want to save your progress do it after or before but not in the middle of your attack or progress will be lost for any ship that isn't already recorded as sunk at the time of your save.

Ok Thank you. I didn't realise that. Now I just need Sh5 to stop CTDing on me then I wont need to save as often.
I think I will need to re-install all mods again.

On all silent hunter games, I still save the game at 3 different times, keeping the newest saves, deleting older ones since one game can go on for hours.

A mod list would be helpful. Try the option below if you have a large modlist and don't know how to wrap text.

Copy your mod list. Click on the # button. Two [CODE] will appear. Put your blinking icon,l, between the two [CODE]. Paste the modlist and submit reply when finished.

Yes mod list could help us finding errors.
Try to keep just the essentials (FX, NewUIs, IRAI, REM, OHII, RM&A) and see if any better. Then, when stable again, add others one by one with testing :up:
Oh, and generic patcher is best as stand alone, not a mod...

The hog island was changed by OHII - make sure you install OHII AFTER TDWs UI mod:up:

Ok thanks. I am uninstalling and re-installing Sh5 again. I have downloaded Sobers mega mod and will try that and build up to newer mods.
