[ADV] TDW Generic Patcher Advice
 
Hi folks. I've used TDW's generic patcher to good effect it seems...but for one thing. I have played the same campaign save game 5 times now and fired (in total) 20 torpedoes at two ships. The result is always the same..either the torp cirlces my boat or it hits the targeted ship and is reported as a dud.

How can i disable duds altogether ( I have already disabled duds via the ingame options screen). Is it done via TDW patcher ( I've looked and can't see where) or the pyoptionseditor?

You are probably experiencing problems because you are not using the correct torpedoes.sim file for the patches. In the patches you'll find a Files= entry. For those torpedo patches that have something other than None for Files= double click. Place the files in your \Silent Hunter 5\data folder.
