BBC News Magazine: Coffee addiction: Do people consume too much caffeine?

A cup of coffee in the morning is never wrong.

Quote:

US officials are investigating the safety of caffeine in snacks and energy drinks, worried about the "cumulative impact" of the stimulant - which is added to a growing number of products. Is our tea and coffee-fuelled society too dependent on the world's favourite drug?

Don't they have an economy to fix, not thinking about what people drink in their own time :hmmm:

Drinking coffee dose not turn you into a donut eating sex machine getting hold of big guns and here is the proof...

I think quite some nutritionists enjoy the idea of having power and control over people by making them do what they tell them to do, and they like it the more, the more political and sociologically ambitioned they are. Not one week without a new pig-hunt through the streets. Not one week without the newest, the latest, the coolest new diat and nutrition information being revealed. From salad to cholesterine, from caffeine to uncooked vegetables, from cerealia to alcohol - I think there is not much left which over the span of my life so far have not seen a total mutation in assessment through the full spectrum form one pole to the other, and then back again. Only some things have changed in assessment, and stayed like that: Refined white sugar comes to mind, and certain types of fats.

Not just nutritionists.

Caffeine?!?!? where? oh there. Caffeine!!! Caffeine Caffeine Caffeine Caffeine CAFFEINE!!!!!!!

gotta do the voice like the dog on the began strips commercial. either way if they get rid of caffeine it will be replaced by something that could be more harmful.

if you ask me it is safe enough in certain quantities but once you reach the don't drink more thn one of these every 4 hours then there is a problem.

I did not mean to exclude any of those people you listed. ;) It'S just that I was only about nutritionists (this time).
