I was doing well until they dropped me off in the middle of nowhere Australia. I was lucky to even have guessed the continent right.

Aye, happened to me too. The image quality was so crap that I couldnt read any
signs or anything. :dead:

Now does googling the name of a bar or hotel you find on the street view count as cheating?

I use google all the time. That's what I find so amusing about it; Look for hints
and use them to find the place with google. :)

Cool! I got 16457 on my first try. My first one I was really off (guessed somewhere in the Riviera when it was actually in mexico), but the others were a lot closer. My favourite one was where it dropped me in front of a hotel in Key West, that was easy to figure out :D
