Bug that was fixed in SH3 and SH4 .
When you look thru the binoculars and then exit , the horizon is slanted . I know it rights itself if you look thru the binos again but its annoying . It was fixed in the other games by modding but i dont know how . |
Don't see what you mean :-?
Picture? :D |

I've never noticed similar things :hmmm: |
I've noticed this and it seems even more noticeable when using stoianm pitch&roll since it rocks the sub side to side more. When looking through the bino as soon as the horizon moves from the roll of the sub exit the binoculars and the horizon is stuck to where it was before exiting bino.
Don't exit binoculars until horizon is level has been my workaround for it. :) |
I've been keeping my eye on a convoy for most of the day and can now say that this binocular bug is really annoying me now:hmph:

As this thread has been resurrected, let me add my workaround to this. After I look through the binos at a target, before exiting the bino screen, I look to the sky almost vertically and rotate the sight toward the rear of the sub and exit the bino when pointed upwards. The horizon tends to be at the right angle then.

My workaround is just hit binocs on off until horizon looks level lmao
I know it's darn annoying :haha: :salute: ps : also if the horizons on the squint and you dive your stations eg : sonar and hydro are on the squint too Sometimes teleporting (tdw's newui's) from scope to scope hydro to sonar etc levels this out, mostly it's 50/50 :D |
