Be interested in learning why the RCMP feels that it was an "al Qaeda-supported attack".

Then James Malizia should keep his yap shut and not make official statements to the press about it. :yep:

eventually they will have to tip their hands in court.
It appears to have been a joint RCMP and CSIS operation, apparently the suspects had been followed for over a year. apparently one of the suspects was planning to travel out of the country which precipitated the arrests. The RCMP spokesman said the suspects were receiving support from Al-Qaida based in Iran. |
They've released police sketches of the suspects :D http://www.thegreensuits.com/blog3/w...d-natasha1.jpg http://http://www.thegremlin.com/Web...JW/14877jw.JPG

Watching danish news right now and they are talking about a connection to Iran.
Wondering what will happen, if there is a connection between the two person and Iran. They should have recieved instruction from Al-Quada in Iran Markus |

Oh no, connecting a terrorist attack to Iran, no doubt we'll need to bomb them, maybe take out some nuke reactors why we're at it.

More info on Al Qaida in Iran. It seems that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" best describes their relationship.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/23/opinio...ran/index.html On the plot, it appears the initial tip to police came from an Imam in Toronto. Apparently the RCMP was ready to arrest both last year, but DHS asked for a delay to see if anyone else was involved. It seems pretty evident that the Boston bombing spooked everyone involved which is why the RCMP felt obliged to move on this quickly. In other news, one of the suspects, Raed Jaser, is already represented by John Norris, one of the few canadian criminal lawyer who is an expert in terrorism cases. Interesting that his family was able to track down the best defence lawyer for the job in less than 10 hours. :hmmm: http://www.ottawasun.com/2013/04/22/...-khadrs-lawyer |
There is a huge difference between someone getting support from someone IN Iran and getting support FROM Iran. :nope:
