Type II goodies

Hi folks,
can I ask is there any interior mods for the type II? I searched through the downloads section and found postalbyke's interiors 2 and 3, I installed these but in the thread it does say they were not complete, on going inside I found large areas of the boat not there (big blocks of white screen) also the bench seat wasn't there so I removed the mods.
Also I have installed gwx open hatches and was wondering if this works in the type II

Thanks Burt.

Any ideas folks?

I don't know about SH3, but I found an interesting simulator designed specifically for the type II.

Hi bertieck476

I saw your post yesterday and looked in the forum posts for any help :hmm2: You see I have used this mod but encountered no problems with it, although it is not in my MOD generator at the moment as I'm in a VII.

I'm not very good (in fact I'm pretty useless) at computer problems where programming is concerned so I wouldn't have been any assistance where that's concerned.

If you haven't already try googling 'postalbyke's interiors 2 and 3' for posts in subsim for any more info. Sorry I can't help much more, but I will follow this thread as my next career I will be using this mod :salute:

Thanks Ninja, I'll do a search, tbh I only searched the download section.
Did you use interiors 3 as well? it says it has to be used after 2 which I did but it didnt look right, I'll try them again.
Does anyone no if the gwx open hatches works in type 2?

Yes I used both downloads, activating 3 after 2. It sounds to me that the GWX open hatches might be interfering?

I disabled open hatches and tried again, no2 seems ok but no3 is really messed up lots of the interior missing and blank, then I realised that in my eagerness to try out my downloaded mods I have been enabling and disabling them at sea, I dont know how many times I have read not to do this but I completely forgot, do you think this is the problem?? I have not had any crashes at all.

Bert.

I tell you what I do when I try new mods. I have a career simply called 'Mods' and leave it in the dock so if I want to try a new mod I go out to sea with this. So each time I download any particularly large mods I have a fresh career without losing anything. Try that? :salute:

I actually started using multish3 a few days ago, and have a completely separate "vanilla" install of SH3 to use for testing mods. Then, my main modded version that I actually use to play is completely unaffected by anything a mod would/could do to break my game.

Another good idea. I'll be trying that when HAHD is released :salute:

Good ideas folks.
Do you think the problem is that I loaded at sea? when I disable them the interiors go back to normal.

You can encounter lots of problems adding mods whilst at sea and the worse is a CTD which I have experienced and lost my career :hmph:

To avoid potential crashes I always wait till I'm docked :yep:
