Which Crew Mod!
 

Hi Guys

I notice a lot of you guys have crew at the bottom of the screen so you can give orders. The basic set up only gives you one. I am learning as i go along, medium setting 38% and am currently doing MARE NOSTRUM
Is it worth adding mods at my current level? If yes can anyone recommend a crew mod or anthing else also that would help me to progress.

I played this game for a short while until I downloaded OHII and use this exclusivley.

It doesnt have all the cosmetic changes that alot of the singular mods have but it improves the overall gameplay and missions.

My system is not really good enough for lots of cosmetics, but since downloading OHII I have upped my realism settings and advanced alot further than the original game allowed me to.

I have a new sub, more skills, and enjoy the long slow hunt alot more.

So my advice, Get OHII start a new campaign and enjoy the much better gameplay.

I suggest to check sober's megamod.

Even if you won't use the entire list, you can go THROUGH it and check what will work for you and what's not.

Answering your direct question, however: I believe there is one and only crew mod: Mighty Fine Crew Mod.

To Answer your question about the pics at the bottom of the screen, this is givin as a part of "TDW's new UI", at least if memory serves me, I have those and use the UI. Each picture brings up an icon menu that you can use to give orders that were not available with the "out of box" UI. The pics are a holdover from SH3 so each officer pic has some x-tras.
As Targor mentioned, Sober's mod list is a really good place to start, but as for the pics, they come from the new UI.
