What's wrong with this picture ????

Did this photograph spark a police action that tried to enter a New Jersey home without a warrant? That’s the story being told on a website dedicated to “Open Carry” in the state of Delaware. The title of the story, “The fight has officially been brought to my front door.”

A happy kid with his 22, man I'm jealous that's a nice rifle, ran across this story while I was doing my happy dance, yes I'm a horrible dancer but I've been seen with women. I'm sorry that Feinstiens named got mispelled, again the happy dance, but that was short lived after hearing that we lost 7 Marines in a training exercise in Nevada.:salute::salute:

the question should be what's wrong with the State of New Jersey ..

Mustard sandwiches anyone?

In before Takeda.

Did anyone actually read the story. It's all hear-say. They did not even talk to anyone that was actually there. It could happen, but in this case, I think it may be slightly exaggerated.

In America an 11 year old holds a rifle for his dad with his finger safely off the trigger. Is visited by the CPS and the Cops.

In Russia an 18-19-20-something looks directly down the barrel of his AK. Is expected to defend his country.

and there are those on the Left they want to make America more like Russia? :hmmm:

I bet young mister Shawn Moore here could teach those in Washington a thing or two about guns.

The Sandy Hook shooting, while bad, has been overhyped and it has ruined America. Stuff happens...and when you overhype it like this...people freak out. The crazy people also know that if they do something like this, they will get attention. That's all they really want. Attention. If we overpublicize and freak out over a school shooting to the point where 3 months later, they are trying to ban guns and schools are getting crazy.

Schools are getting so paranoid. There was a kid who was suspended because he had a Pop-Tart that was in the shape of a gun. It's stupid! Not everyone who even talks about a gun is a psychopath. There was a story I heard of a kid in a school that had a picture of his new BB Gun on his camera. The teacher saw it, confiscated the camera, searched it, and personally interrogated this LITTLE KID if he had feelings of violence, wanted to kill, etc... My own school is pretty laid back and in a community where everybody knows everyone and most of them are related. They feel the need to install tie-downs for the doors inside every room and they are going to install a PA System. Some administrators are taking everything too far. I had even heard that the yearbook staff had to cut some pictures because they had the church in the shot.

And...while I'm on a rant....

WHAT GIVES MICHELLE OBAMA THE RIGHT TO RESTRICT OUR SCHOOL LUNCHES? First Lady isn't an office that you get elected to. You don't get any power over the country as First Lady.... :stare:

No dessert? Specifically made portions? What the hell are you thinking lady! :-? What is going through your mind?

They are even getting to the point where kids who bring lunches have to get it approved by food type and portion. Most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my years of life. We have a government program for our school lunches and they cut out tons of stuff because of what Michelle Obama thinks can change American Obesity. The kids are just going to go home and stuff their faces anyway cause they DON'T GET ENOUGH AT SCHOOL!! :stare:

I am a bottomless pit when it comes to food. I don't get enough lunch to begin with because of portioning that we had anyway...but when She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named decides to use the authority she doesn't have to cut my little food that I do get. :hmph:

I have some choice words for FLOTUS....I won't share them with you so use your imagination. She is just as bad as POTUS and she doesn't even hold office.

:/\\!! :stare: Had to get that out of my system.

(Personally I would have went with Idaho for that pic since Florida kinda looks like something else....)

I feel bad for the kids who don't get to do even that. When I was in elementary school in the city the school breakfast and lunch programs were a huge thing because some kids didn't get filling meals at home.

Yeah. There is that too. Most of the obese kids though. They have food to eat at home....and they don't exercise. With schools cutting recess for kids i'm not surprised. Cutting their only exercise for the day will have consequences. If the kid loves to eat, fine. Just make sure he exercises and keeps that fat off. I love to eat. I don't gain weight though. I have a fast metabolism and I play sports. I'm by no means saying i'm the model that you have to follow....but if I can keep the weight off...other kids can too.

You say that overhyping things is not the right thing to do. In your previous sentence you say that the Sandy Hook shooting "has ruined America".

Just as a side note, it is psychologically interesting you felt the need to include that qualification... :hmmm:

Unfortunately this has gone on long before Sandy Hook. A couple years ago we had a kid up this way suspended for putting Army men on his hat:

Quote:

This hat, created by 8-year-old David Morales to honor American troops for an assignment to decorate a hat in his second-grade class in Coventry, R.I., violated the school district's no-weapons policy because the toy soldiers were carrying tiny weapons, officials said.
