When I the one for my Wrangler it was called a brush guard.

AVGWarhawk 03-13-13 02:47 PM

Brush guard

geetrue 03-13-13 02:47 PM

California highway patrol calls it a push bar

Thanks y'all :D

I have no idea what we call it in my country :88)

All of the above. Also Grille Guard.

That is strictly a brush guard or grill guard. It is not a push bar.
A push bar has two padded vertical bars placed about 18 inches or half meter apart. The bars are shaped similar to the ones in the picture, but protrude further forward and are padded and built much stronger. A push bar Will not be attached to a brush guard, but a brush guard may be attached to a push bar. It's all due to attachment points, and equipment strength.

It's clearly a steam engine cow catcher. :stare:

okay so it's not a push bar, but it sure would come in handy in a demolition derby or even if push comes to shove
in a wal-mart parking lot lol

You don't need it. Trust me, if a Clio can push away a car infront of a supermarket with it's plastic bumper (and 20km of ducttape) then you don't need fancy brushguards.

bertieck476 03-13-13 03:19 PM

I know them as bull bars

Herr-Berbunch 03-13-13 03:30 PM

Bull bars for me, too.

swamprat69er 03-13-13 03:42 PM

Moose bars.
