Need Support ( Mods wont work)

I sit at the loading screen, trying to start a new campaign, and it tries to load for about 2 or 3 minutes, and the game just stops ( exits ). I get a UBI After-action report and everything, but no error reports. That is the Order I have my mods loaded, and that is all the mods I have loaded. |
I would disable all mods and start adding them one by one to see which one causing it.

How would that work? Enable one mod, and start a new campaign every new enabled mod? Do i enable a mod one at a time, or do i stack them? M++
I mean, i am not sure why it wouldnt work. These are all in the order of Sober's mod compilation. Of course i skipped some mods, but i put them in order. |
remove the uboat historical specifications. It's not compatible with my UIs mod anymore.

Hey, TDW .. it seems it was your UI mod. I thought your UI was sort of vital to the upgraded SH5 experience.
How do i get your mod to work? Any suggestions? I've had to miss something on how to get your UI mods to work! It's : TDC Radcap tools, TDC Wounded Torpedo Officer, TDC TheDarkWraith (main). Version 7_1_0 It seems these were causing the issues. Hey Sober, it seems TDW's UI 7_1_0 is causing a complete crash and .... screwy main menu for me.
It seems, if i disable the UI mod by TDW, that all my other mods work fine. However, i thought the UI mod was sort of .. vital? This is also on a FRESH install of Silent Hunter 5. --- Is there something i messed up on setting up? All i did was download the mods necessary, and compile with the MEP. I also tried it without the MEP and individually installed the mods i thought would cause the least resistance causing me to stumble upon disabling the UI mod fixed the issues i was having. 100% crash after a 3 to 5 minute loading screen, and a ... menu with an overlapped menu. Meaning my Exit game button had a back button sitting on top of it. It also had some options on my screen that i couldn't close. Though once the UI was disabled, every thing seemed to work .. hmm --- Man, i cant figure it out. I am also using steam, i am not sure if that has anything to do with it. I am noticing i am having a problem finding the Option Viewer / Loader .exe file ... hmmm. In both downloads from your thread, of 7_1_0 UI, i am only getting a 1KB CFG file for OptionFileEditorViewer and can only be opened with Notepad. I am unzipping your file with Winzip. There is no .exe file. No alerts from Norton that it was detecting a threat. Hmm --- AHHAHHAHA!!!! FOUND IT. FREAKIN WINZIP. Winzip was screwing up the Unzip. You have to use 7Zip to unzip your UI mod!! I just unzipped with 7Zip to get a control for Winzip and everything worked perfectly! Nice. What a waste of 30 dollars. A free unzipper can do better crap than a premium one. ================================================= Fixed it. |
Cool! Glad you solved it. ALWAYS use 7Zip to unpack files!
Also don't forget SteelViking's Interior Mod V1.2.2 Patch for your interior mod + Fuel Gauge WoGaDi_SteelViking's Interior...otherwise it will be uncomplete. |
Yeah, i downloaded, basically, the entire compilation since i figured out the problem. I combined 1.2 and 1.2.2 Steekviking in the same file ( over written / updated ), is that a bad thing!?
