trouble at mill !!
 

Hi guys, i have just joined Sub Sim and from what i can see its ace :) i have a problem cos every time i try to down load a patch i get the message unknown version anyone had this problem as i am a newby to silent hunter 3

It's difficult to help without more information. What version of SH3 did you buy? Disc? Download? What patch are you trying to install?

At a guess it sounds like you have a newer version which is already fully patched. Open the game and look at the lower right corner of the loading screen. If it says 1.3, 1.4 or 1.4b then you are already fully patched and don't need anything else. This is why it won't let you install the patch.

Another way is to go into the game folder and right click on the SH3 exe >properties>details.

hi searunner is your copy of SH3 recentley purchased if so its already patched to 1.4 if its the inital release cd from 2005 then you have to download the right patch usa dvd patch or usa download patch same for europe too
